Today is family day. Hoho.
I hardly spend time with my family so it'd be good to spend some quality time with them today. But, that means I'll miss the monthly MinOps CG! Kinda sad. Cos I was looking forward to it.
Anyway, my family is going to Malaysia for a shopping spreeeee!
I heard there's an ongoing Malaysia Mega Sales till 3 September.

(updated) Indeed, it was a fruitful trip despite the usual childish conflicts.
Everyone bought stuffs except the parent, which is quite apparent.
I helped two of my brothers to pick up new
spectacles,
a shirt and a pair of boxers for the other bro who was complaining about his tight underwears.
Hehehe.
I've got myself 2 tops and a skirt (:

By the way, it's enduring to shop with my brothers.
I'd jolly well exchange my position as the eldest sister.
It totally sucks, most of the time =.=

Am I really becoming hostile or insensitive? *shrugs*

Emotions aside, I need morning calls, seriously!

Thank you, very much, for all your compliments and encouragements for the video production of Beneath, Closets 1. I didn't think it was that good. The execution was way below my expectations and I'm displease with myself. But, please don't get me wrong, I'm thankful for all who pulled through it together. You guys are great, really. Somewhat, it's really special cos everyone else, including those in the pastoral groups, completed the whole picture. And personally, I've learnt much.

Le Freedom Cafe, Closets 2, is still on its way.
Sorry, I kinda fall asleep, every now and then, in the midst of editing.

I'm feeling better now,
I'm perked up by good music!
(:

Another block of lessons commerce next week,
COMDA and IMDP3 are waiting to consume me.
Have I ever mention...
I don't even have a single block of holidays
till the official TDS break in September!
I'm deprived of deserving holidays!

Watched 'JUST LIKE HEAVEN' a few days ago,
just another extremely cliche, romance movie.
Shall rip more movies from my personal resources. Hehehe.
It's not exactly piracy if I don't make any money outta it right?
Or am I just not sympathetic
towards the loss of copyright?

Anyhow, I just wanna catch more movies, films and dramas.
Alot of inspiration can be derived from a good show.

Being a good film maker still seem like such a daunting dream.

I went to school 2hrs ahead of class today; only to realise that Alfie had cancelled the class. Argh. How irritating, but I shouldn't be complaining as much since Siyuan didn't even utter a single word of bitterness considering the fact that he actually rushed to school by a cab.

So, the few of us were kept occupied by 'PERTH - The Geylang Massacre', at the IMD studio instead. I have a fetish for local films recently. Haha. Anyway, I really wasn't expecting such gory images towards the end of the film. No wonder it's credited as M18, together with the immensities of vulgarities used. It's a pretty good and evocative film but I don't quite enjoy it.

I had my first hands-on with the portable lights this evening, with the help of Sek Jhia. Spent about 4hrs outside Zouk with Wynnie, Jiali, Jeremy, Matthew, RuiZhen, Walond, WeiLun, Cheong Seng, Seng Kim, excluding the 1h plus spent on watching a few shorts films from 'ROYSTON'S SHORTS', while waiting for their arrival, after we've selected the right spot for filming. Too bad we couldn't complete the scene cos the batteries were totally exhausted :(

Wonder why my feet are still so sore. Think it was probably a result of my location recce, circling around Tanjong Pagar, Clarke Quay and finally MOS, yesterday.

I need to be more judicious and practice common sense more often. Silly, careless me.

Ohayo! (:

Yay, it's still quite an early morning.
I woke up and stayed awake. Hehz.
No headache, only smiles and sunshines.
Managed to sleep earlier than usual, last night.

Not gonna jog. Haha. It was rainning.
The grounds are still wet and slippery.
What an excuse! But it's true, isn't it?
Instead I spent QT, with half of my body under the comforter.

My biological clock is screwed!

I don't seem to feel hungry till late night these days.
I always seem to be trapped in some sorta weird dreams almost every night that it makes so difficult for me to wake up on time the next day.
Even when I am finally awake, I'll be having a terrible headache.

I shall attempt to sleep earlier tonight, wake up early tomorrow, go for a jog, have a good breakfast and start my day alright in anticipation of a long day ahead.

Oh, wow. It has been exactly ONE MONTH since I last breathed into my lifeless blog.

Honestly, I'd love to update this wireless adobe of mine everyday but procrastination always get the better of me. Moreover, it always seems like there're a 101 more important things to do. Believe it or not, I'm a real busy person. Hoho.

Sometimes, I really do wish to be carefree. But then, I'd never grow in that way. I need to get outta my comfort zone, take faith and face up to challenges. The truth is that I feel so weak, so vulnerable, so inadequate, so fearful, easily discouraged and always belittling myself these days. Emo again, you say? Can't help thinking how horrible I am; self-condemnation crept in my being, freely.

That's when I realised that I've been trying too hard to search for an answer within myself. It's just unsatisfying till I encounter my creator - a void only He can truly fill.

Who am I?
That the Lord of all the earth,
Would care to know my name,
Would care to feel my hurt.

Who am I?
That the bright and morning star,
Would choose to light the way,
For my ever wandering heart.

Not because of who I am,
But because of what you've done.
Not because of what I've done,
But because of who you are.

I am a flower quickly fading,
Here today and gone tomorrow,
A wave tossed in the ocean,
A vapor in the wind.
Still you hear me when I'm calling,
Lord, you catch me when I'm falling,
And you've told me who I am.
I am yours.

Who am I?
That the eyes that see my sin
Would look on me with love
And watch me rise again.

Who am I?
That the voice that calmed the sea,
Would call out through the rain,
And calm the storm in me.

I am yours.

God is moulding me, little by little, everyday.
Please be patient with me, will you?

(:

My ibook is finally backed in shape after parting with me for a week at the service centre. The hard drive has been replaced and my data vanished. I figured it wouldn't worth $300 to retrieve my data since the service can't be guaranteed. It's kinda silly to fork out so much money for such an operation regardless of its success rate. Can you imagine if I had actually opted for the rescue operation of my precious data and I receive the following response: "Sorry, we've tried our best. Say good-bye to your precious and your $300."
Then, I'd really be a fool, for nothing.

Aye, I've to redo all my work and I'm definitely not motivated to start my screen writing all over again.

Thanks Chris, for all your help with the installations etc, time and again. I declare that you're still my favourite Mac friend! Ok, I still owe you an ice milo drink ;p

I really, really, really wanna get an iMac or at least a MacBook! I've been thinking about it, day and night. Hahaha. I can't survive on my 12-inch-ibook. So I'm gonna sell it! Would anyone, take some interest in it, please? It's barely 6 months old, with a remaining 2+ years warranty, all the programs you possibly need installed and I'm offering a cheap deal!

On a last random note, I quite like Avril Lagivne's rendition of 'Knocking on Heaven's Door' though I haven't heard the original version.

Omg, it's almost 4am now. zZzZzZz!
